The first National mission trip for our youth in 2010 will be World Changers in Birmingham, Alabama.  The first deposit of $10.00 was due in September.  The second deposit of $20.00 is due in October.  Additional deposits of $15.00 each is due in November and December.  It is not too late to sign up for this trip.  The project will be home renovations.

Our youth will hold an Auction fund raiser on Saturday, January 23, 2010 at 7:00 in the church fellowship hall.  This will be a silent auction, but the large items will be auctioned publicly.  We want donations of goods and services to auction.

Deadline to get items registered for the Auction is Sunday, Jan. 17.

Entertainment will be provided at the auction.

We already have 4 tickets to Six Flags over Georgis to auction.

Youth Winter Snow Trip for grades 7 - 12+ is scheduled for February 18 - 21.  Youth will have the option of snow skiing, snow boarding, snow tubing or ice skating.  Destination is Gatlinburg, Tennessee.  Details will be shared in class.

Sunday Mornings at 10:00 AM

Youth Alive Sunday evenings at 6:15.  Youth join adults for a time of praise at 6:00 and then are dismissed to class. 

Youth Bible Study on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 PM.

Our Youth are collecting one million pennies with a goal to build a skate park.  Although one million pennies would not be enough to build this park, it is the first step to get a ramp built.

This park would be an outreach to get their friends involved in church.

You can help by saving your pennies (we will take other change -dollars too) and bring or send them to Laurel Baptist.

As of December 7, we have collected 355,142 pennies.
