On Saturday, October 24 the members of Laurel Baptist Church went  to the aid of eleven families in the Greenwood area.  This is the second time this year to provide this help.  Members met at the church at 8:00AM to take on the projects assigned to them.  There were about 46 laborers plus those that served lunch for our work crew.

Applications were taken for assistance through Monday, October 19.  Although the church members are providing free labor, purchase of materials needed is the responsibility of the families needing help.

This is one way we as a church family can show love to those in our community.  We are a community church with a mission for ministry.

The next Labor of Love day has been scheduled for Saturday, March 27, 2010.  Applications must be in the office by Monday, March 8 to be considered for help.  Applications may be made online or in person at the church office on 330 Sample Road.

Office hours are 9:00 - 4:00 Monday - Thursday.
